Why it matters
Load-shedding and outages can stop a team mid-call or mid-deadline. In your own office, a reliable backup means buying, fuelling and maintaining a generator and UPS, and paying someone to look after them.
At RSpace that's all run for you, and the cost is part of the seat price for desks and private offices.
For larger teams
Managed HQs for 30–500 people get the same backup. On the Fully Serviced model, electricity and generator power are in one invoice; on Furnished, they're metered and billed separately.
Questions people also ask
Does the internet go down during load-shedding?
No. The IT network runs on UPS, so it stays up while the generators take over, which takes about 20 seconds.
Do I pay extra for generator fuel?
No, not for desks and private offices: electricity and generator backup are included in the seat price for desks and private offices.
